Dushanbe police have prevented a mass brawl between two groups of young men. Eight people have been detained and knives, hammers, axes and bats have been confiscated from them.
According to the press center of the Dushanbe police department, they received information that two groups of young men want to go on each other on March 26 behind the “Saodat” shopping mall.
According to police, there were four people on each side and they had knives, hammers, axes and bats. All of them were detained. Seven people involved -- Dilshod Mirzoyev, 29, Furqat Rahimov, 24, Jahongir Saidov, 23, Daler Sharipov, 19, Khayom Hasanov, 25, Muhammad Sharipov, 24 and Abdumuslim Rajabov, 24 – are residents of Dushanbe, and Behrouz Fattoyev, 26, is resident of Varzob district.
All of them were detained. Criminal proceedings have been instituted and an investigation is under way. The reasons for the conflict are unclear.
