In Tajikistan, persons entering public service now must fill out the income and assets declaration. Majisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper house of parliament) members today unanimously seconded the law requiring amendments to the country’s law on public service.
Majlisi Mill member Mirali Rajabzoda says the amendments aim to reduce risk of corruption-related crimes in government bodies.
Public servants will also fill out income and assets declaration every year in late March.
Besides, under the amendments made to the law on public service, public servant will receive service benefit equal to three months’ salary for irreproachable services upon separation from service irrespective of work experience.
