President Emomali Rahmon has inaugurated a health center and a carpet-weaving workshop in the Jabbor-Rasoulov district of the Sughd province.

On Monday October 22, President Emomali Rahmon attended an official opening ceremony of the health center in the Mehrobod jamoat of the Jabbor-Rasoulov district, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

This two-story health center has reportedly been built under support of the government within the framework of the medical service improvement project .  The construction began in October 2016 and was completed last month.  

Besides, the head of state today inaugurated sewing and carpet weaving workshops in the Gulakandoz jamoat of the Jabbor-Rasoulov district.

Both facilities have been built by local entrepreneur Ismoil Samadov.  Thirty local women have reportedly been employed with the sewing workshop.
