In the capital of Hungary - Budapest, from August 28 to September 3 will host the World Championship in Judo among adults, in which along with the best fighters of the world will take part and Tajik athletes.

The members of the Tajik team included Komronshoh Ustopiriyon, Sukhrob Bokiyev, Khushkadam Khusravov, Behruz Hodzhazoda, Saidmuhtor Rasulov, Sadr Boev, Saidzhalol Saidov, Muhammadmurod Abdurahmonov and Khurshed Majidov, reported in the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan.

As expected, over 450 athletes from 86 countries of the world will take part in the Judo World Championships in Budapest, which will be held under the auspices of the International Judo Federation.

The championship will be historical for two reasons - for the first time in the world championship the team tournament will be held in a new format, such as it will debut at the Olympics in Tokyo-2020. Compete will be mixed teams, each consisting of three judokas (men) and three judokas (women) in weight categories 57, 70 and over 70 kg and 73, 90 and over 90 kg respectively.

The second noteworthy aspect of the World Championship in Hungary is the prize fund, which is a record prize for judo competitions - about one million US dollars, which will be distributed among the winners and prize-winners of the individual tournament - 798 thousand dollars, and the command - 200 thousand.

The medalists of the tournament in Budapest will be able to significantly supplement the rating qualifying account. The "Gold" of the World Cup will bring the winner 2000 points. "Silver" will provide the athlete 1400, and bronze - 1000 points.
