Two parties - yesterday and today - 52 thousand textbooks in Russian were delivered to the international airport of Dushanbe along the line of Rossotrudnichestvo.
The first party, which was received on August 28, consists of 8,000 textbooks on the Russian language and literature. Among the books sent there are also alphabets and teaching aids in the fine arts, told "AP" in the representation of "Rossotrudnichestvo" in Dushanbe.
Today the transport plane of the Ministry of Defense of Russia delivers books by two humanitarian Russian organizations: 20 thousand textbooks on the Russian language from the “Russkiy Mir” Foundation and 32,000 textbooks in all subjects for seven schools from the autonomous non-profit organization supporting humanitarian programs "Russian Humanitarian Mission".
Later, representatives of the Russian Center for Science and Culture will donate books to the capital's secondary schools and schools in the Sughd and Khatlon regions.
According to “Rossotrudnichestvo”, at present there are about 30 general educational establishments with the Russian language of instruction in the country where more than 17 thousand students study.
"At the same time, there is an acute shortage of textbooks and teaching aids in Russian, as well as a new generation of literature for teaching language. In this regard, Rossotrudnichestvo provides substantial support in the provision of textbooks, teaching aids and fiction to many educational institutions in Tajikistan", - a representative of “Rossotrudnichestvo” in Dushanbe reported.
On August 29 with transport plane of the Ministry of Defense of Russia will be delivered books by two humanitarian Russian organizations: 20 000 textbooks on the Russian language (7.5 tons) from the "Russian World" Foundation and 32,000 textbooks in all subjects for 7 schools (12 tons) from the autonomous non-profit organization supporting humanitarian programs "Russian Humanitarian Mission".
Today 30 teachers from different regions of Russia who will work in Tajikistan will also arrive in Dushanbe. 19 teachers will go to work in the schools of Khatlon and Sughd regions, 11 will stay in Dushanbe schools.
