A Tajik corner titled “Tajikistan – the Roof of the World” has been organized at the international tourism exhibition “Intourmarket 2018” in Moscow, according to the Tourism Development Committee under the Government of Tajikistan.
“Tajik tourism companies are presenting resources and opportunities of Tajikistan for attraction of tourists from Russia and other countries,” an official source at the Tourism Development Committee told Asia-Plus in an interview.
According to him, participation of Tajik delegation in Intourmarket 2018 has become possible due to support provided by Rustam Emomali, President of the Tajikistan Football Federation.
The 13th Intourmarket (ITM) travel fair is taking place at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow from March 10 to March 12.
1,430 tour operators and 78,500 participants from 143 countries are reportedly participating in this year’s ITM travel fair in Moscow.
Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center is one of the most modern and perspective fairgrounds of the world. One of the main types of activity of the expo center is running large international exhibitions of different profile with participation of Russian and foreign companies. The expo venue is one of global leaders in terms of scale boasting the unprecedented in Russia 1,040,000 square meters of indoor and 680 000 square meters of outdoor spaces.
ITM is the main tourism event that is officially supported by the Russian Federal Agency for Tourism and other federal and professional organizations contributing to the travel industry development in Russia.
