DUSHANBE , May 4, Asia-Plus - A conference on discussing a procedure of making changes and addenda to the first part of Tajik Civil Code is being held in Dushanbe today.  

According to information fro the Dushanbe Office of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the conference is being held under aegis of the President’s Executive Office under financial support of the USAID Commercial Law Development Project implemented by ARD/Checchi.   

The conference participants include representatives from the president’s office, USAID office in Tajikistan , ministries and organizations of Tajikistan , Tajik central bank, the World Bank, private juridical firms, NGOs, as well as international experts.   

The conference is aiming to analyze the present Civil Code as well as to consider proposals on making amendments to it.
