International Finance Corporation signed agreement with Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank on granting $5 million for expansion of small and mid sized business in remote areas of the country. Public relations manager of IFC told the correspondent of the Kabar Agency.
These means will increase access to finance in regions of the country, which is important for development of private sector.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, IFC head Lars Tunell said: “IFC actively cooperates with Kyrgyz banks on development of micro finance sector and access to finance for small and mid sized business. We hope that this investment will help the bank to expand its credit portfolio and develop further”.
