Volume of capital investments in the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan overtopped 4.2 billion soms in 2008, spokesman of the region’s governor told the news agency “24.kg”.
Main part of the investments was paid from the enterprises’ funds (over 1.9 billion soms), when about 1.7 billion came from population. The total of 98.3 million soms was issued from the state budget.
A significant part of investments was channeled to industrial housing construction. In 2008 the region put into operation about 30,210m2 of newly-built housing property, which is 11,662m2 more than in 2007.
The fundamental capital investments reached 154.9 million soms.
