Ministry of Health leaves open the possibility of swine flue outbreak on the territory of Kazakhstan during autumn and winter period, Minister of Health Chairman of the State SES Committee of Ministry of Health and chief health officer Anatoly Belonog said.
The Ministry of Health believes that the second epidemic wave will be in autumn and winter period. Belonog noted that EU states have already began preparations for the second wave.
The Ministry is taking measures to prevent spread of the disease in Kazakhstan. The plan has already been developed. Sanitary control is established in the international airports of the republic. Health conditions of those who came from abroad is monitored.
No case of swine flue has been found so far in Kazakhstan.
