Construction of objects of external power supply of Tashkent city started in frames of joint project of "Uzbekenergo" and Eximbank (China) in Uzbekistan, Uzbek company''s press service reported.
Transmission station "Keles" with high voltage line 220 kW, transmission station 110 kW "Navoi," and 110 kW "Saiilgoh" station will be built in the course of the project, source reported.
"For this day "Uzbekenergo" company has concluded a contract on supply of electric equipment and materials with a cost of about US $27.750 million with Chinese company Xian Electric Engineer Co. Ltd. Financing of the project with a maximum value of US $59 million will be realized from own means of "Uzbekenergo" - more than US $32 million, and credit means of Chinese Eximbank in the value of more than US $26 million. Credit will be provided for 20 years term, including grace period of 5 years, with 2% interest rate per year," source concluded.
