Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez arrived on Sunday in Turkmenistan''s capital Ashgabat on a first official two-day visit, local media reported.
Chavez and his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov will hold official talks on Monday.
Media said the leaders will "discuss interstate cooperation development vectors" and outline long-term partnership priorities.
