President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with Director General of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Jacques Diouf.
As it reported from Ashgabat quoting the press service of the President of Turkmenistan, the Head of FAO welcomed the Turkmen leader''s initiatives to ensure food security and improve quality of food, as well as the creation of a high standard of living of the population.
The Director-General of FAO invited the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to participate in the world summit dedicated to the food problem, which will be held in Rome in November this year.
