DUSAHNBE, May 5, Asia-Plus - Tajikistan ’s youth soccer team will take part in an international soccer tournament that will be held in Afghanistan from May 15-22.  

According to Information from Tajikistan ’s Football Federation, youth national teams from five countries – Afghanistan , India , Iran , Pakistan and Tajikistan – will compete in this tournament in Afghanistan .  

The Tajik Football Federation source has told Asia-Plus that the main purpose of the participation in the tournament is for Tajik soccer players to prepare for the final part of Asian tournament among soccer players under 17, which will be held in Singapore in September this year.    

Farid Solehov, a spokesman for Tajikistan ’s National Olympic Committee (NOC), says that Tajik NOC is paying travel expenses of Tajik soccer players participating in the tournament in Afghanistan .
