During this same period prices set by producers of food products increased, including potatoes – by 36.6 percent, sugar – 25.5 percent, onions – 23.9 percent, carrots – 20.9 percent, cabbages – 6 percent, apples – 3.4 percent, milk – 2.4 percent, animal fat – 1.1 percent and noodles – 0.3 percent.
At the same time, prices of some foodstuffs have decreased, including eggs – by 16 percent, concentrated milk – 4.3 percent, grade 1 wheat flour – 1.4 percent, poultry – 0.8 percent, mutton and margarine – 0.5 percent each.
Since the beginning of the year, prices and rate of paid services rendered to the population have increased by 3.1 percent as a whole, including phone communication – by 40.2 percent, rail fares – 13.2 percent, and air fares – 2.2 percent.
