Tajik Medical University reaches agreement with U.S. private clinic on providing 1,500 computers

DUSHANBE, May 24, Asia-Plus - 1,500 computers may possibly be provided in no-strings aid to Tajik State Medical University in near future, Firuz Shukurov, the had of normal physiotherapy chair at Tajik Medical University, announced at a briefing in Dushanbe on May 23.

According to Mr. Shukurov, during various meetings in the
United States
they had reached an agreement with one of private clinics on providing of computers in no-strings aid to the university. “But now we have to find anybody, who could deliver them to
Dushanbe
,” Firuz Shukurov said in his interview with Asia-Plus.
Shukurov says they intend to set up the
Center
of
Natural Cure
at
Tajik
Medical
University
. “All those interested will be able to receive in the Center answers to questions about healthy lifestyle as well as about treatment without medicines and about physiotherapy,” Firuz Shukurov said.
“The idea to set up such a center occurred to us during visit to the
American
Center
“Medical Knowledge to People”, which trains leavers for entering medical higher educational institutes, or for work in the field of medical journalism,” he said.
The briefing participants noted that they had plans of putting into practice experience they gained during staying in the
United States
. They intend to hold a roundtable meeting “Healthy Lifestyle” for representatives of the public, international organizations and all those interested with enlistment of services of trainer from
Boston
.
They noted that not only support of the state but also assistance of the public (donations made by well-off people in particular) was needed for enhancement of the health sector in
Tajikistan
.
