DUSHANBE, September 14, 2011, Asia-Plus  -- Tajik national air carrier, Tajik Air, is launching three regular air routes to Russia – from Dushanbe to Irkutsk, from Khujand to Samara, and from Kulob to Moscow.

The Dushanbe-Irkutsk flight will be once every two weeks – on Fridays.  A ticket for the flight costs 285 euros.

The Khujand-Samara flight will also be operated once every two weeks – on Thursdays, and a ticket for the flight costs 250 euros.

The Kulob-Moscow flight will be a twice-weekly service – on Saturdays and Sundays.  A ticket for the flight costs 330 euros.

Before that, Tajik Air had operated charter flights from Dushanbe to Irkutsk and from Kulob to Moscow.  “These flights were temporarily suspended and Tajik Air has decided to resume them,” the source said.

Tajik Air (Tajikistan Airlines) is the national airline of Tajikistan. It has its head office on the property of Dushanbe International Airport in Dushanbe.  The airline has its main hub at Dushanbe Airport, and it retains a secondary focus point at Khujand''s Khujand International Airport.

Tajik Air now serves the following destinations: China (Urumqi); Iran (Tehran); Kazakhstan (Almaty); Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek); Russia (Irkutsk, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Saint Petersburg, Samara, Sochi, Surgut, and Yekaterinburg); Tajikistan (Dushanbe, Khorog, Khujand, Qurghon Teppa); and the United Arab Emirates (Sharjah).
