Over the first three months of this year, wage arrears of Sughd-based enterprises have amounted to 15.5 million somoni   

Sughd chief prosecutor Habiullo Vohidov remarked this at an enlarged meeting of the regional prosecutor’s office that took place on April 13.  

The highest wage arrears have been reported in the city of Guliston.  Enterprises and federally funded  institutions based in this city now owe totaling 10.7 million somoni to their employees.

Isfara-based enterprises now reportedly owe 2.5 million somoni to their employees and Asht-based enterprises now owe 650,000 somoni to their employees.  

“The situation with remuneration of labor is under constant supervision.  The regional prosecutor-office has issued 127 orders and 23.8 million somoni have been reimbursed,” the prosecutor said.
