KHUJAND, February 24, Asia-Plus - Over the first twenty days of February, 24 traffic accidents occurred in the northern province of Sughd, killing 8 people and leaving 22 others with injures, according to information from the Sughd traffic police directorate.
Muin Homidov, an inspector with the Sughd traffic police directorate, has told Asia-Plus that in February 2005, 19 traffic accidents were officially registered in the region. Six people were killed and 20 others were injured in those 19 traffic accidents.
