DUSHANBE, June 16, Asia-Plus -- Last night, another explosion took place at the gas-distributing facility in the Rudaki district, some 20 kilometers to the south of Dushanbe, according to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
The source says the accident took place at about 1:10 a.m. as a result of gas escape on the 292 nd kilometer of the gas pipeline from Uzbekistan to Tajikistan. A fire that broke out following the explosion was extinguished in several hours. No injured was reported, according to the source. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
