A large amount of counterfeit euros has reportedly been confiscated from a resident of the Roudaki district

Thirty-five counterfeit 500 euro banknotes have been confiscated from a 28-resident of the Roudaki district, according to the Interior Ministry’s website.

The counterfeit euros have been made with use of computer equipment, said the Interior Ministry’s website.  

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the suspect forger under the provisions of Article 281 (2) -- manufacturing or selling counterfeit money and securities; an investigation is under way.
