The bodies of two missing young women from Dushanbe, Zamiramoh Haydarova and Mehrafruzi Holmirzo, were found in the hills in the Kharangon village of the Varzob region.

Relatives have been looking for 31-year-old Zamiramoh Khaidarova, a resident of Alisher Navoi Street of the capital since January 2018, 18-year-old Mehrafruzi Holmirzo, a resident of the Ismoili Somoni district of Dushanbe, was considered missing since April 2020, reported by the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.

The bodies of both girls were found in a natural cave, 50-60 meters deep in the hills near the village of Kharangon, Varzob region. The examination showed that the girls did not die a natural death, but were strangled.

As a result of operational actions, two residents of Dushanbe, Doniyor Safarov and Sadullo Raupov, were detained on suspicion of killing the girls.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Doniyor Safarov had a close relationship with Zamiramoh Haydarova, whom he always beat.

«In January 2018, Safarov, once again beating Zamiramoh out of jealousy, together with his friend Sadullo Raupov, threw her into the trunk of a car and took her to the hills in Kharangon. There Safarov and Raupov beat her again, raped her, then strangled her and buried her corpse», - reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Sadullo Raupov committed a crime against Mehrafruzi Kholmirizo a year later.

«In April of this year, Raupov, a private driver, put Mehrafruzi Holmirzo in his car as a passenger. He took her to the territory of the Varzob region, offered intimacy, but when he was refused, he beat the girl. After that, he took the girl to the scene of the first crime, strangled her and also buried her», - press center reports.

A criminal case has been initiated against Doniyor Safarov and Sadullo Raupov under Article 104 (Murder) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tatarstan, an investigation is underway.
