The meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS for the first time in history will be held in videoconference mode.
The fight against COVID-19 will be one of the main topics during the meeting, which will be held on May 29 under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov.
Tajik Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda intends, in particular, to discuss with his colleagues the need to coordinate efforts and develop common approaches to overcome the spread of COVID-19.
In total, the draft agenda of the meeting included 15 issues relating to the interaction of the CIS countries in the economic, transport, construction, energy sectors, as well as in the field of education, tourism, sports, culture, youth cooperation and security.
