On Wednesday July 15, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Republic of Tajikistan Mohammad Zahir Aghbar, according to the Tajik MFA information department.
During the meeting, the sides reportedly exchanged views on the current state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Afghanistan.
They also discussed issues related to cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international and regional organizations and noted the need for further bilateral cooperation, which is consistent with the spirit of relations between the two nations.
