A number of agreements were signed and decisions were made at the CIS summit in Astana on October 14 in order to promote cooperation in various fields. The parties also discussed joint efforts to combat corruption, terrorism and extremism, as well as cooperation in economy, humanitarian field and culture.

- On granting observer status to CIS in the Collective Security Treaty Organization
