On Saturday November 15, Tajikistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, participated in a meeting of the foreign ministers of Central Asian states held in Tashkent as part of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of the region, according to the Tajik MFA information department
The meeting reportedly focused on strengthening political dialogue and expanding multifaceted regional cooperation. Particular attention was given to enhancing trade and economic ties, developing sustainable transport and communication infrastructure, and promoting green economy initiatives.
The ministers also emphasized the importance of fostering cultural and humanitarian collaboration, as well as cooperation in science, education, and culture. The discussions included an exchange of views on pressing international and regional issues, with a focus on ensuring regional stability and sustainable development.
In his remarks, Minister Muhriddin highlighted the importance of deepening mutual cooperation and maintaining a constructive dialogue among Central Asian nations to promote security, economic growth, and cultural integration in the region.
