Dushanbe legislature to hold session to consider five-year education development program

, March 15, Asia-Plus - On Tuesday March 14, Dushanbe Mayor, Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, passed a resolution on convocation of the fifth session of the
Dushanbe
legislature (Majlis) on March 30.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the
Dushanbe
mayor, has told Asia-Plus that the session will hear report on a work of the legislature’s permanent commission for cooperation with mahalla (community) councils, public associations and political parties, media, religious and non-government organizations.
Besides, the session will consider a draft education development program designed for 2006-2010, according to the mayoral spokesman.
“The session also will hear report of head of the
Dushanbe
firefighting service about fire-preventive measures taken by enterprises and organizations in the city and endorse the employment support program designed for 2006-2007,” Shavkat Saidov said. .
