DUSHANBE, November 8, Asia-Plus - President Emomali Rahmonov presided over a working meeting with participation of members of the government, as well as senior representatives from president’s executive office and the Dushanbe mayor’s office on November 8.
Presidential press service said the meeting was held to discuss issues related to taking timely preparations to ensure the regular work of the country’s economy during autumn-winter 2006-2007.
Stockpiling fuel, providing the population with natural gas and electricity, as well as collecting funds from the public and enterprises for gas and electricity supplies were the major topics of the meeting. Rahmonov charged relevant officials to remove existing shortcomings in making adequate preparations for the winter as soon as possible.
