DUSHANBE, March 5, Asia-Plus - The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament (Majlisi Namoyandagon) considered a bill requiring protection of economic interests of Tajikistan in external trade at a March 5 meeting presided over by its speaker Saydullo Khairulloyev.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board had also considered amendments to the laws on fight against terrorism, legal status of members of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) and deputies of the Majlisi Namoyandagon, as well as the Civil Code of Tajikistan.
Some of these issues will be considered at the third session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon.
