DUSHANBE, March 19, Asia-Plus - The construction of a lyceum at Tajik State Teachers’ Training University in Dushanbe has officially commenced today.
President Emomali Rahmonov and other high-ranking Tajik state officials attended a groundbreaking ceremony for the lyceum, the source at president’s office said.
According to him, 10 million somonis have been provided from presidential reserve fund for constructing the lyceum that will accommodate some 1,000 pupils. Under the project, the lyceum will include two four-story buildings and the limited liability company Somon-Tojiksokhtmon will construct it.
Besides, Rahmonov also attend an official opening of two renovated buildings of the Dushanbe teachers’ training university.
Telling an inauguration ceremony, the president noted that some 4 million somonis had been provided from presidential reserve fund for renovation of the buildings. The buildings house 8 chairs, 12 teachers’ rooms and 26 classes. Nine of 26 classes are equipped with computers.
