DUSHANBE, March 30, Asia-Plus -- The Central Park of Dushanbe has been named after founder of Tajik-Persian literature Abuabdullo Rudaki.
According to presidential press service, President Emomali Rahmon issued an order on this subject yesterday.
This decree is aimed at perpetuating memory of the founder of Tajik-Persian literature and connected with celebration of the 1150th jubilee of the poet in 2008.
Dushanbe mayor is to provide adoption of appropriate decision by the city legislature (Majlis) and submit a project for the construction of memorial complex to Abuabdullo Rudaki for consideration to the government within a month.
