DUSHANBE, May 28, Asia-Plus -- On Saturday May 26, President Emomali Rahmon issued decree appointing Bobokhon Mahmadov, formerly head of the employment and social security department of President’s Executive Office, as Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, presidential press service said.
Mahmadov replaced Ghulomjon Mirzoyev in this post.
By other president’s decree Nourddin Shamsov was appointed as Tajikistan’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE and other international organizations based in Austria also Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Austria.
We will recall that in early May President Rahmon issued a set of decrees reshuffling several Tajik diplomats and officials.
