DUSHANBE, June 25, Asia-Plus — The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered Tajikistan’s development strategy for 20072015 at a June 25  meeting presided over by its speaker Saydullo Khairulloyev.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also considered a bill on electronic digital signature.

In cryptography , a digital signature or digital signature scheme is a type of asymmetric cryptography used to simulate the security properties of a signature in digital, rather than written, form.  Digital signature schemes normally give two algorithms, one for signing which involves the user''s secret or private key, and one for verifying signatures, which involves the user''s public key.  The output of the signature process is called the "digital signature."

Digital signatures are often used to implement electronic signatures , a broader term that refers to any electronic data that carries the intent of a signature but not all electronic signatures use digital signatures.

The board also considered bills on selection achievements, scientific-technical information, and amendments to the laws on single measurement standards, post communication, fire-prevention measures, as well as the air code.

The board also discussed draft resolution on ratification of an agreement on friendship and cooperation between Tajikistan and China.

Some of these issues will be considered at a regular sitting of the third session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the third convocation on June 28, Sultonov said.
