DUSHANBE, June 29, Asia-Plus — On Thursday June 28, President Emomali Rahmon received 57 newly appointed judges, presidential press service said.
Among them were the first deputy head of the Shuroi Adliya (Council of Judges), secretary of the Shuroi Adliya, as well as chairmen, deputy chairmen, and judges of regional, city and district courts.
The source at presidential press service said that the newly appointed officials with the judicial system include seven women.
During the meeting, the president expressed concern about shortcomings in work of bodies dedicated to protect rights and freedoms of citizens and provide justice. Emomali Rahmon wished them success in their work.
