DUSHANBE, August 3, Asia-Plus -- Capital mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev has sacked heads of a number of Dushanbe markets for failing to take adequate measures to tackle the problems of realization of farm produce.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said that by mayor’s resolution of August 2 heads of the markets Barakat (Ibrohim Tolibov), Shohmansour (Sherali Tohirov), Sakhovat (Bobokhon Qayumov), Dehqon (Davlat Davlatov), and Qariyai Bolo (Adbujabbor Boboyev) were dismissed.
Capital mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev on August 2 held a meeting to discuss issues related the resent situation on the city’s markets and increase of prices of basic food products.
The mayor demanded at the meeting that necessary conditions should be created to provide markets with enough goods.
