DUSHANBE, August 29, Asia-Plus — Tajik government considered more than 40 issues at an August 29 session presided over by President Emomali Rahmon, presidential press service reported.
The government, in particular, considered and endorsed bills on town-planning and architecture government as well amendments to the country’s administrative code.
The government also considered and endorsed cooperation agreements singed with China, Egypt, Qatar, Syria and Azerbaijan.
The president charged relevant bodies to properly carry out work on implementation of agreements concluded with Qatar on construction of mosques, hotels, business centers, creation of tourist infrastructure, sending labor migrants to Qatar as well as exporting farm produce to this Arab country.
All these documents were sent for consideration to the parliament.
Besides, by government’s resolutions an agreement on long-term cooperation between the government of Tajikistan and Rusal (Russian Aluminum) was broken and open-joint stock company Roghun HPS (hydroelectric power station) was set up, presidential press service said.
The government also considered and endorsed programs for reforming public service of Tajikistan and socioeconomic development of the Shahrinav district.
By government’s resolutions the State Unitary Enterprise Tojdipservice (diplomatic services), Tajik-U.S. joint venture TOJAM, and the state unitary construction enterprise of the Customs Service were established.
