DUSHANBE, September 3, Asia-Plus — Tomorrow morning, President Emomali Rahmon will attend a groundbreaking ceremony for construction of a new building of the National Firdavsi Library in Dushanbe.
The building will be constructed in the center of the Tajik capital, in the area between the Kokhi Jomi Complex and Radio House.
The deputy library director, Juraboy Rajabov, told Asia-Plus the construction of the new building of the library is part of the national program for developing libraries in Tajikistan. The building is scheduled to have been finished by 2009, the deputy director said.
