KULOB, September 3, Asia-Plus — President Emomali Rahmon is scheduled to pay a short visit to Kulob on September 6 in connection with celebrations to mark the 16th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence.
During his stay in Kulob, the president will attend inauguration of renovated buildings of the Khatlon Hotel, regional hospital and the Kulob theatre named after Saidali Valizoda.
According to the Kulob mayor’s office, Emomali Rahmon also intends to hold meeting with activists of the city to discuss further socioeconomic development of the city and the district of Kulob.
