DUSHANBE, October 1, Asia-Plus -- Tajik parliamentarians have considered and endorsed amendments made to the Constitutional Law “On the Government of Tajikistan.” Under the amendments, a pension of Prime Minister in Tajikistan is set at the rate of 80 percent of an average wage.
The first regular sitting of the fourth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) was held today.
The session also elected Amirbek mMhmadaliyev, representing the Bokhtar district in the parliament, as member of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Committee on State Construction and Local Government.
Besides, in connection of death of the Majlisi Namoyandagon deputy Khumdin Sharipov, the session passed a resolution on early termination of his powers.
