DUSHANBE, November 21, Asia-Plus -- Capital mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev has supported application of Barqi Tojik (Tajik electric system) for observing electricity rationing in Dushanbe.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said that by mayor’s resolution of November 21 electricity rationing introduced by the Dushanbe electricity system in some areas of Dushanbe will last till November 30. In these areas, electricity supplies are now cut off from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Dushanbe municipal authorities have announced that exceptions are made for essential facilities situated in those areas.
