DUSHANBE, March 4, Asia-Plus -- Celebrations to mark the Navrouz holiday will be held in Dushanbe on March 21-13.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said that on March 21, celebrations will be held in microrayons (residential entities), on March 22, celebrations will be held in the Dushanbe Botanical Gardens and on March 23, concerts and festivities will be held in all parks of the city.
A resolution on this subject was adopted by the mayor at a March 3 meeting of the Dushanbe mayor’s office. The meeting also considered issues related to improving the city and measures to ensure regular work of the city’s economy.
