DUSHANBE, March 31, Asia-Plus  -- The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered draft amendments to a number of laws currently in force at a March 31 meeting presided over by its speaker, Saydullo Khairulloyev. 

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board, in particular, considered amendments proposed to the laws on self-government bodies in settlements and villages, safety in industry, protection of consumers’ rights, medicines and  pharmaceutical activity as well as the forestry code.   

Some of these issues will be considered at the next sitting of fourth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the third convocation.
