DUSHANBE, June 10, Asia-Plus  -- The board (Shuro) of the lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of the parliament (Majlisi Oli) considered a bill requiring changes and addenda to the country’s law on prosecutors at a June 9 meeting, presided over, by its head, Saydullo Khairulloyev.  

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board had also considered amendments to the laws on state support for agrarian-industrial complex, state registration of acts of civil status, bee-keeping, electrical communications, providing sanitary-epidemiologic safety of the population, folk medicine, and countering AIDS virus.  

The board also considered an agreement on operational deployment, use and thorough procurement of the rapid deployment forces in Central Asia, a government-to-government agreement between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on aerial communication, an extradition agreement between Tajikistan and Afghanistan, as well as  draft prognosis on the main directions of Tajikistan’s monetary policy for 2008.

A part of these issues will be submitted for consideration to the fourth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon, Sultonov said.
