DUSHANBE, June 17, Asia-Plus -- President Emomali Rahmon has visited the Dushanbe hating plant to familiarize himself with a progress of rehabilitation work at the station.   

Rahmatullo Qalandarov, the engineer-in-chief with the Dushanbe heating station, said that rehabilitation work is going on in full swing and will be finished by the end of October, when heating season starts in Tajikistan.   

After rehabilitation, the Dushanbe heating plant is expected to generate 180,000 kWh of electrical power and 270 gigacalories per hour.     

The station has not been repaired for the last four years.
