On September 28, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a meeting of the government of the republic.

First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Investments and Property Management Sharaf Sheralizoda at the meeting reported on the "Program of State Support for Entrepreneurship in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2012-2020". It was approved by the government in April 2012.


Sheralizoda noted that over the years, the program contributed to the gradual and comprehensive implementation of the reform of the legislation of the republic, the modernization of production and technological processes, the attraction of domestic and foreign investments, the improvement of the lending system and financial support for small and medium-sized businesses, etc.

He noted that as a result of the implementation of the Program, the number of business entities increased from 187 thousand in 2012 to 328 thousand in 2020. During this period, the share of the private sector in GDP was 70%, in providing employment for the population 68% and in paying taxes 80%.


Labor Minister Gulru Jabborzoda spoke about the draft law "On training specialists taking into account the needs of the labor market", Minister of Education Muhammadyusuf Imomzoda reported on the draft "National Strategy for the Development of Education in the Republic until 2030", and the Minister of Industry and New Technologies Zarobiddin Fayzullozoda reported on the "Program for the Development of the Machine-Building Industry for 2020-2025".


Government members also discussed a number of bills, some of them were sent for consideration to the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the country.


The day before, the head of Tajikistan also signed decrees on the appointment of new representatives of the country in a number of countries.

In particular, Sharifi Saadi was appointed the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Afghanistan. In this position, he replaced Sharofiddin Zukhuriddinzoda in connection with his retirement.

Also, the head of state dismissed Fayzullo Holboboev from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the country to Ukraine in connection with the transfer to another job, and appointed Davlatali Nazrizoda in his place.

Sulton Rahimzoda relieved of the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic to India. He was appointed head of the Executive Committee of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea. Lukmon Bobokalonzoda appointed as the new head of the Tajik diplomatic mission in India.

The head of state also appointed Khasan Sattorov as the new head of the Intelligence Directorate of the Republic's National Guard.
