Sughd Governor Rajabboy Ahmadzoda heading a delegation of regional administrators and businesspeople of Sughd province today left for Fergana, the capital of Fergana region in eastern Uzbekistan, to meet with heads of Kyrgzstan’s Batken region (Omurbek Suvanaliyev) and Uzbekistan’s Fergana region (Khairulla Bozorov) and participate in a trilateral business forum entitled “Integration of Border Regions - the Key to Development” that is taking place on April 23, according to the press center of the Sughd governor’s office.

At Fergana International Airport, the Tajik delegation was reportedly met by Frist Deputy Governor of Fergana region, Avaz Urinboyev.  

The trilateral business that will consist of two plenary sessions on industrial and agricultural cooperation is expected to create a platform for negotiations in the B2B and G2B formats.

The program of the visit also includes a meeting of governors of the three border regions.

Meanwhile, Kyrgyzstan’s national news agency Kabar says representatives of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan will get acquainted with the activities of large industrial and agricultural enterprises of the region, visit an exhibition of products of Fergana region manufacturers.
