As part of his working visit to Danghara, President Emomali Rahmon on April 28 got acquainted with activities of trading cooperative unit Rahmonjon and cooperative production unit Somonjon.

The Tajik president’s official website says that in one of the picturesque places of Danghara, which has become a tourist zone, Emomali Rahmon released from cages more than 4,000 rare birds, including partridges, quails and some other steppe birds adapted to the climate of Tajikistan.


It was noted that given the broad possibilities, favorable weather conditions and fertile lands, reserves for breeding rare birds and animals will be created in Danghara.

The head of state instructed relevant ministries and agencies to intensify work on the improvement, territories allotted for reserves in order to create a basis for the development of tourism. 

In the trading cooperative unit Rahmonjon, Rahmon inaugurated a pedigree cattle breeding complex located in Korez jamoat on the area of 3,749 hectares.


Established in 2002, the complex now has more than 1,140 head of cattle, including Simmental cattle, Swedish cattle, etc.  

Besides, Rahmonjon trading cooperative unit also has 6,000 head of sheep, more than 1,100 head of goats and 60 head of horses.  Poultry and fish farming are also developed in this cooperative unit. 

While in Danghara, Rahmon also visited the cooperative production unit Somonjon, which specializes in the cultivation and vegetation of agricultural crops. 


Farmers of this cooperative production are engaged in growing vegetables and fruits, cultivating gourds, grain, technical crops and grapes.
