Tajik athlete Behrouz Khojazoda has grabbed silver medal in the Tashkent Judo Grand Prix 2019, finishing second in the weight category of 73 kilograms.  

In all, twelve athletes represented Tajikistan at the Tashkent Judo Grand Prix 2019, but the remaining eleven Tajik judokas failed to  win any prizes.

The Tashkent Grand Prix 2019 took place rom September 20 to September 22 and 418 athletes from 69 countries participated in the competitions.  

Behrouz Khojazoda (born January 11, 1995) is a Tajikistani male kurash practitioner as well as a judoka who has represented Tajikistan in several international competitive events.

He represented Tajikistan at the 2018 Asian Games and claimed silver medal in the men's 81kg kurash event.  Behrouz also competed in the men's judo 73kg event during the 2018 Asian Game.

In November 2017, Behrouz won gold for Tajikistan in the 2017 World Sambo Championships (-73kg weight category) that took place at the Iceberg Skating Palace in the Russian city of Sochi from November 10 to November 12.  In the final, he defeated Belarusian athlete Stepan Popov.
