Dushanbe has been listed among the Top 10 CIS cities for tourists to visit in the fall. Tajik capital is ranked ninth.
The tourist portal, TourStat, has made a list of Top ten CIS cities for tourists to travel in the fall. Belarusian capital of Minsk is at the top of the list. It is followed by the Kazakh capital of Nur-Sultan (formerly Astana) and the Armenian capital of Yerevan.
According to data from TourStat, independent tourists usually travel to the CIS cities in the fall for two-three days, while organized tourists usually choose week-long excursion tours.
The Top 10 cities to visit in the fall this year are:
1) Minsk, Belarus;
2) Nur-Sultan (Astana), Kazakhstan;
3) Yerevan, Armenia;
4) Almaty, Kazakhstan;
5) Baku, Azerbaijan;
6) Tashkent, Uzbekistan;
7) Chisinau, Moldova;
8) Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan;
9) Dushanbe, Tajikistan;
10) Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
