Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad compared Iran’s enemies to ‘mosquitoes’ and promised to deal with the West from a position of power at the nuclear negotiations.
The statement was posted on the Iranian government website, while the West was expecting an Iranian written reply to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) proposal of uranium enrichment for the Iranian nuclear reactor.
"While enemies have used all their capacities ... the Iranian nation is standing powerfully and they are like a mosquito," the government website quoted Ahmadinejad. “Given the negative record of Western powers, the Iranian government ... looks at the talks with no trust. But realities dictate to them to interact with the Iranian nation,” he said.
